He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Annette Kern (Jeff Kern), Evelyn Daumeyer and Michele Westrich (Doug Westrich); his grandchildren, Samantha Geiger (Damian), Alexander Kern, Jake Westrich, Vanessa, Jonah and Urgrossvater; and his great grandchild Gwen Scheie.
