He is survived by: his siblings, Willie Byrd (Lorryn), Danny Byrd (Carolyn), Benny Byrd (Sheila) and Brenda Messer (late Russ); his stepsiblings, Jackie Adams (Leroy) and Darryl Fields (late Lou); and also Tony Byrd. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
