It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter R. Meng of Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy C.; his sons, Scott M. (Cheryl) and Robert J.; and his parents, Louise H. Meng and Carl F. Meng.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah A. Carrick (Daniel), Mary Beth Lute (late Michael), Tracie L. and Kurt B.; his grandchildren, Kevin Meng (Morgan), Kristen Kreuzer (Phil), Jason Carrick (Charity), Bridget Hutchison (Michael), Jessica Victor, Brittany Lute-Sumer (Fatih), Morgan Lute, Ryanne Meng, Aiden Meng (Brynn) and Avery Meng; and his siblings, Phyllis W. Yusko, Carl J. Meng and Florence C. Green.
