He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Martens, Sr. and Walter E. Martens. He is survived by: his wife Victoria; his brothers, Edward and Michael (Susan); his nephews, Avery, David Martens, Joshua and Jason Swann; his in-laws, William and Pat Shea, Sr.; his siblings-in-law, William, Jr. (Randi), Martin Shea and MaryAnn Shea (Dan Stregl); and his godson Scott David. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
They would marry at the home Wally's parents built during their retirement on March 20, 2021, surrounded by those they loved after Wally recovered from COVID-19.
