It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Vincent Chema of Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his brother John Richard Chema (Susan); his children, Christine Chema Beall (Tom) of Gaithersburg and Stephen T. Chema, II (Robin) of Washington, D. C; his grandchildren, Katherine Ellen Beall of Savannah, John Robert Beall (Jack) of Clemson University, Stanley, Benjamin Chema of Washington, D. C., Violet and Jack Mason; and also, William Mason (Meg), Mary Catherine Mason, Madeline Mason of Baltimore, Abigail Mason of Chicago, Illinois. and Barbara Burke Chema.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home of Westlake (25620 Center Ridge Rd, Westlake, OH 44145). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Church East 9th (1007 Superior Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Western Reserve Land Conservancy, The Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, or the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
