He is survived by: his sisters, Patsy Green, Phyllis Banta, Princetta Davis and Juanita Yates-Rouquemore (Jenny); his daughters, Dorothy Harris and Christine Suzanne Yates; his wife Melodie Sue Yates; his sons, Aaron Richard Yates, Anthony Ryan Yates and Nathaniel Ira Yates; his grandchild Kweli Elijah Yates; and also Aaron.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the E. F. Boyd & Son Funeral Home and Crematory - Main (2165 East 89th Street William F. Boyd Sr. Way, Cleveland, OH 44106). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (3607 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109).
