He was predeceased by: his son Ruben Vidal "Benny" Oquendo; his grandchild Yamaira Garcia; and also Rosa Lydia Vicens Rodriguez. He is survived by: his children, Rosario Sternik (Douglas), Rosaura Oquendo-Hernandez (Ramon) and Marta Garcia; his grandchildren, Heather Hutchins (Chris), Kayla Davis (Taylor), Bryan Sternik, Lydia Sternik and Yamil Garcia; his great grandchildren, Christopher Hutchins III, Anderson Davis, Gabriela Rose Hutchins and Rhodes Davis; and his siblings, Venanzia, Celia and Joe.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ripepi Funeral Home (5762 Pearl Rd, Parma, OH 44129). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Queen of Peace Church (4423 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109).
