She was predeceased by: her parents, Jamie Fryer and Surdell Fryer; her sisters, Sharon Fryer and Rosie Price (Judy); and her son Michael Ward.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Ward; her children, Sharon Ward and Thomas Ward IV; her grandchildren, Leroy Millsape, Armando Tatum, Briana Ward, Khalyl Wadley, Ashley Dubose, Michael Ward, Mya Ward, Dylan Ward, Kai Deloach, Misean Ward and Landyn Cyphert; and her siblings, Jamie Fryer II, John Fryer, Jessie Thomas, Betty Anderson, Anna Fryer, Barbara Marshall and Deborah Davis.
