With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nijole Motiejunas (Cleveland, Ohio), who passed away on June 19, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Povilas Gytis Motiejunas; her parents, Pranas Sapalas and Hortenzija Sapalas; and her siblings, Aldona Soliunas (late Vytas), Milda Tallat-Kelpsa (Algis) and Liale Falduto (late Anthony).
She is survived by: her children, Ruta (Duff Smith), Daina Stull (Wayne), Gayle Kework (Mike Bardzilauskas) and Paul Gytis (Karen); her grandchildren, Audre Le (Tam), Tomas Tatarunas (Courtney), Simas Tatarunas (Kristen), Christopher (Kristen), Tristan Basich (Jonathan), Nick Kework (Amanda Colburn), Elena (Joe Zupan), Erika, Michael, Emma and Eli; and her great grandchildren, Joel, Pia, Jonas, Penelope Le, Mila, Emilio, Liana, Demi Tatarunas, Raegan, Parker, Owen Basich, Hunter and Karson Kework.
The family requests any donations be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve and the Lake County Animal Shelter.
