He is survived by: his children, Melvin L. Henderson Jr. of Dayton, Duane V. Henderson (Deborah) of Marion and Jacqueline D. Henderson-Twine (Albert) of Marion, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Albert Twine II (Eunice), Wynelle O'Neal (Brendan), Maurice Pettite, Rafeal Twine, Jacqueline Twine Jr. and Isaiah Twine; his great grandchildren, Natavia, Nariah, Albert III, Elijah, Isaiah, Moriah, Macaiah, Anaiah, Zee and Cameron; and his nieces, Lynette Henderson-Greene and Tracy Griffin.
