She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Drews and Louise Drews; her husband Edmund Schmidt; her siblings, Donald Drews and Doris; her brother-in-law Robert Wennerstrom; and her great grandchildren, Ellie Grace and Amanda Joy Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Schmidt (Ann), Elizabeth Connors (Thomas), Mary Jane Kellerman (Craig) and Kurt Schmidt; her sister-in-law Ida Drews; her cousins, Elizabeth Drews, Rev. Richard Drews (Carol), Xandra Malandra, Basil Manns and Elizabeth Ann Van Epps; and her goddaughters, Barbara Gullerud and Ann Cefalu. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
