He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Massingale and Evlen McKinney; his daughter Cynthia; his grandchildren, Porche, Marteya, Stanley Jr. and Quadri; and his siblings, Theodosha Dickerson (Louis), Joyce-Gwendolyn, Joann-Gwen and Cletus Massengale.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Jean Massengale; and his children, Armand, Artilisa, Lorita Lee (Milton), Marnita, Cheryl, Ingram Collins (Benjamin), Carmillia Rookard, Stanley Appleton (Lynita), Kimley Davenport, Monika Mack, Luther Mack (Natasha), Tracee Lynn Marie, Camille Davis, Byron Davis (Johnette) and Brittney Davis. He is also survived by ses 63 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren, his 4 nieces, 4 nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaines Funeral Home (5386 Lee Rd, Maple Heights, OH 44137). A wake was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44270).
