He was predeceased by : his wife Elaine; and his parents, David Darvas and Margaret Darvas. He is survived by : his children, Richard Darvas of Cleveland and Lori Roberts (Matthew) of Carmel, IN.; his grandchildren, Samuel, Jacob, Robin Darvas, Becca and Emily Roberts; and his sister Nancy Smith (Ken).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donlon Funeral Home (15478 Triskett Rd, Cleveland, OH 44111). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church (3625 W 138th St, Cleveland, OH 44111).

The family respectfully requests that any donations go directly to Christ United Methodist Church, the host church of Troop 178, rather than to the Boy Scout office.
