She is survived by: her sister Karen Abrams (Chuck) of Port Charlotte, FL; her nieces and nephews, Kelly Hudson (Charles) of Brooklyn Heights, OH and John Kreps of North Olmsted, OH; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sadie and Leia Hudson.

“My sympathy to Kathy's family. Kathy was my secretary in Social Security's Cleveland Regional Office in 1973 - 1976. I think she started there right after graduating from high school. She was a great employee, and an even better friend. We had a lot of fun working together. Kathy bought a huge Pontiac Grand Prix, and had a couple of fender benders in a short period of time. We nicknamed her Krash Kreps, and that stuck with her among those who worked with her, for a long time. Dale Gleason”
