She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Plautz and Mary Plautz; her son Wally (Lauren); and her grandson Andrew. She is survived by: her husband Walter; her son Jeff (Diane); her brother Jim Plautz; her grandchildren, Max, Bailey (Doug), Sarah (Brian), Abby and Zachary; and her great grandchild Crew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breckenridge Village Scholarship Fund which assists with the education of the many young care givers who have helped Karen and Walter over these last years.
