It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph John Rihtar (Cleveland, Ohio), who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Joseph John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joseph John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Kristina; and his sister Mary Rihtar. He is survived by: his wife Connie; the father of his child Brian Rihtar; and his siblings, Frank, Milan, John, Michael, Stan, Margaret Lavrisha and Magdalene Lavrisha.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vitus Catholic Church (6019 Lausche Ave, Cleveland, OH 44103).
