He was predeceased by: his parents, David Schwartz and Anna Schwartz (Miller); his wife Margaret Schwartz; his siblings, Reuben Schwartz, Samuel Schwartz and Rosie Zehr; his grandson Victor J. Schwartz; and his great grandchildren, Seth Alan Schmucker, Sarah Graber, Hannah Graber and Alan Schwartz.
He is survived by: his children, James Schwartz (Sheila), David Schwartz (Mary), Amanda Yoder (Amos), Andrew Schwartz (Eileen), Victor Schwartz (Noami), Sarah Hilty (Noah), Rebecca Miller (Eddie), Annamae Miller (Ernie), Wilma Steury (Lavern) and John Henry Schwartz (Laura); and his siblings, Clara Graber (Jesse), Michael Schwartz (Margaret), Rosa Zehr (Jonas), Sarah Schmucker (Edwin), Amos Schwartz (Emma), Mary Miller (Jacob), Anna Schwartz (Jacob), Susan Steury (Joe) and David Schwartz (Bernice). He is also survived by 58 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren.
