He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Amantea and Lena Amantea. He is survived by: his son John Amantea (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Dominic and Amanda; his wife Joyce Antal; and also, Irene Furgiuele, Dolly Speziale, Lucy Cavallaro, Ann Cavallaro, Josephine Guido, Joe, Mike Amantea, Carmella "Carmen" DiCicco and Eva Kachline.
