He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Hager and Richard Persinger; his niece Laura Self; and his brother Robert Ferrell. He is survived by: his children, Aria Rose Hager (Austin) and Jerry Wayne Hager Jr.; and his siblings, John Hager (Katy), Terri Mangeri (Steve), Tammy Self (Tim), Rick Persinger (Wendy), Benji Persinger (Linda) and Jeremy Persinger.
