She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tate and Rebecca Tate; her son Samuel "Nell" Tate; and her siblings, Corazette Tate, Michael Tate, Richard Tate, Steven Tate and Leonard Tate.
She is survived by: her friend Evelyn Morison Eaddie; her niece Tachara; her son Michael Tate; and her siblings, Rita Stanton and Rocco Stanton (Norma). She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Watson's Funeral Home (10913 Superior Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cleveland Memorial Gardens (4324 Green Rd, Cleveland, OH 44128).
