He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoleon Hayes and Ella Hayes (Reid). He is survived by: his wife Bettye; his children, Yvette Hayes of Columbus, OH and Chris (Thomasina Nolan); his grandson Thomas of Cleveland, OH; and his siblings, Juanita, Bonita Hayes of Bessemer, AL, Robert, Johnnie Hayes (Cody) of Cleveland, OH and Carl Hayes of Bessemer, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Derrick (Ricky) and his sister, Alma Sims of Cleveland, OH Services will be limited to visitations due to Covid-19 restrictions.
