He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his son Michael; and his parents, Charles Davis and Lona Davis. He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Davis, Wilma Peters, Arlene Depriest, Jeralene Lawson, Billie Jean Jones, Pauline Osborne and Gary Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105-1942.
