She was predeceased by: her mother Ethel Foster. She is survived by: her husband Luis Mendez; her children, Nestor L. Perez Jr. (Rhiannon), Jessica Rosado and Jennifer Acevedo; and her cousin Jewel Sanders. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
