He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Taylor and Juanita Taylor; and his pet Maxwell. He is survived by: his girlfriend Katharine "Kay" Hammond; his siblings, Elaine Taylor and David Taylor (Pilar); his stepdaughters, Duska Fedick and Delta Roybal; his niece Julia Taylor Smith; his nephew Andrew Taylor; and also Charlie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2206 16th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County.
