She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Sims and Emma Sims; her husband Henry "Hank" Threadgill; her sister Gertrude; and her son Ronald.

She is survived by: her son Wayne; her granddaughters, Tiffany and Erika (Mike); her great grandchildren, Mikala, Anthony and Michael Jr.; her niece Phyllis; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley and Tasha.
