He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Pillar and Mary Angela Pillar; his brothers, Michael Pillar (Brenda) and Tom Pillar (Christina); his nieces and nephews, Jacquelyn Svitek (Craig), Michael Pillar (Michelle), Nicholas Pillar (April) and Kaitlyn Collinsworth (Thomas); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Simon, Ella Svitek, Jack, Madison, Owen Pillar, Elizabeth, Delaney, Dominic Pillar, Everett and Camden Collinsworth.
Donations can be made to the Case Western Reserve University Athletic Department in Gary's honor.
