She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Hilliard Thomas and Mitchell Thomas. She is survived by: her sons, Walter T. Moreland and Kevin M. Moreland (Megan); her siblings, Mitchell Thomas (Mary), Alvera Thomas and Mary "May" Thomas-Baker (Harry); her grandchildren, Thomas M. Moreland and Quincy G. Moreland; her aunt Tonina Hilliard Walker (late James); and her nieces and nephews, Rochelle Moreland Johnson (Avery), Candice Washington, Taria Cooper (Elton), Anthony Morris (Yvonne), David Thomas and Damon Thomas (Alex). She is also survived by cousins, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland in memory of Frances T. Moreland.
