It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Marsh (Cleveland, Ohio), born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Etta's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Etta has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her mother Sarah Phillips; her husband Nathaniel Marsh; her brother Robinson Phillips; and her children, Clifton Phillips and Felicia Suzette Marsh-Richardson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Russell Phillips, Barbara Nickerson and Myrith Edwards; and her children, Frenchie, Barry (Bridget), Reginald and Terrence. She is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many loving friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at 6800 Lexington Ave, Cleveland, OH 44103. A burial will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Lake View Cemetery (12316 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106).
