She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed McHone and Lola McHone. She is survived by: her husband Terry Whalen; her daughter Michelle (Glenn Wright); her granddaughter Savannah Loest (Gary); her great grandchildren, Harper and Emerson; her daughter Robin (Boris Bogdanich); her granddaughters, Marina King (Sands) and Anna; her stepson Michael Whalen (Kim); her grandchildren, Megan Margaret and Jack; her stepdaughter Jeanne Sterling (Jeff); her grandchildren, Paige and Fisher; her stepdaughter Kathleen Crowley (Wes); her grandsons, James and Ryan; her stepdaughter Kristin Whalen (Joe Petitto); her siblings, Irene McHone, Kenny McHone (Bev), Paul McHone (Sandy), Debbie McHone and Eddie McHone (Juanita); and also Lauren Holt (John). She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.

“Michelle and Robin and family, we are so saddened to hear about your Mom passing away. She was such a wonderful, giving lady always opening her home on every holiday to welcome us and our family. I remember when I had my first son and he had such severe colic she drove all the way to my house in the morning and made me go back to bed. She took care of Ryan, cooked and cleaned so I could get some rest. She was also there when Ryan was born early. She stayed the night until we were all ok.”
