We bid farewell to Curtis Mitchell (Cleveland, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 5, 2024 at the age of 87. Curtis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Mitchell and Asberry Mitchell; his daughter Annie Clark; and his siblings, Clara Nell, Willie, Hullah Mae, Beulah Mae, Erskin, Eugene, James, Bettye and Gloria.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha; his children, Dr. Sharon Mitchell, Marita Ivey (Kevin) and Curtis Mitchell, Jr. (Shawnetta); and his siblings, Leodis, Claude, Katie of Mobile and Gertrude. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
