It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Newton (Cleveland, Ohio), born in Vallejo, California, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles C. Newton and Margaret R. Newton. She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Elizabeth Hankins (Trish Hendy) and Jessica Melson (Hankins) (Paul); her granddaughters, Audrey and Maura; her siblings, John Newton (Nancy), Richard Newton (Sharon), Roger Hafford (Jamie) and Marta (Hank) Wold (late Newton); her friend Charlotte Partlow; and her cousin Mary Lynne O'Brien. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
