He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Kim Burke-Moffa (Vince Moffa) of Lambertville, NJ, David Burke of Encino, CA and Rachel Duffie (James) of Coppell, TX; his grandchildren, Bethany Moffa-Brown (Michael Brown), Daniel Moffa, Ariana Busch, Elliot Busch and Jordan Busch; his great grandchildren, Everett and Rowan Marie; and his siblings, Irene Wolfman and Lili Berkovits.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel (1985 S Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118). A reception was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Temple Israel Ner Tamid (1732 Lander Rd, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124).
