He was predeceased by: his cousin Jimmy Eger; and his parents, Fay Gottlob (Eger) and Louis Gottlob. He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Gottlob (Basman); his children, Louise Cullen (Patrick), Stephanie Gottlob (John Hulme) and Adam Gottlob (Tricia); his grandchildren, Jessica and Jack Cullen; his cousin Marlene Roskoph (Donald); his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Mooney (Don Mooney), Leigh Levy (Primack), Rebecca Makene (Cottle), Paul Cottle and Sarah Durett; his siblings-in-law, Judith Van Ginkel (David Van Ginkel) and Robin Durrett (late Charlie Durrett); and his cousins, Dr. Jay Roskoph (Kim) and Lori (Phillip Lanza).
