“I grew up with Marvin from the first grade through OSU Medical School. He asked me to be in his wedding and I agreed, later backing out. I regretted that decision for the rest of my life. I even drove from Columbus to Altoona to meet and tell him how sorry I was. It has been a bittersweet pleasure to discover what a beloved and accomplished man he became. In my 84 years only a few souls who have truly touched my heart, and Marvin is one of them. Stewart Chase, OSU MD, 1964.”
