She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel M Berkowitz; her son Harvey Berkowitz (Barbara Hill); and her stepchild Irv (Joanne Levy). She is survived by: her children, Stuart and Lora Berkowitz; her grandchildren, Debbi Wolf (Neal), Sharon Bercovicz (Benny), Marc Berkowitz (Yvonne), Scott Berkowitz (Julie), Jason Berkowitz (Lars), Steve Levy (Tammy) and Beth Levy; her great grandchildren, Brittany LeNoir (Jesse), Jordan Berkowitz (Alexandra), Ricki Hipwell (Jeff), Jack, Sam Berkowitz, Justin and Jamie Levy; and her great great grandchildren, Autumn Hipwell, Monroe LeNoir and Bella Berkowitz.
She lived through the Spanish Flu and the current Pandemic, so whether it was the bananas, the orange juice, or perhaps the handfuls of daily vitamins she never forgot, she definitely did something right.
The family suggests contributions to Menorah Park Hospice or the charity of choice.
