With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cal R Block (Cleveland Heights, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Marilyn Block Daniels; his brother-in-law Norman Block; and also Beverly. He is survived by: his spouse Edie; his daughters, Michelle Roberts (Gregg) and Amy Aschkenasy (Eli); his grandchildren, Shoshana Berger (Yechiel), Aryeh, Yosef, Ezra Roberts, Goldi, Miriam and Suri Aschkenasy; his great grandchildren, Gavi and Yaakov; his sibling Jerry Block; his siblings-in-law, Jack and Cheryl Miller; and his friends, Bikur Cholim of Cleveland, Taylor Rd and Cleveland Heights.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel (1985 S Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118).
