He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cindy; his children, Adam (Kimberly), Chad (Danielle) and Kyle Adelstein (Elizabeth); his grandsons, Todd and Joseph Adelstein; his parents, Harvey Adelstein and Natalie Adelstein; his siblings, Deborah Macpherson (Duncan) and Shelley Posen; his nieces and nephews, Marc Posen, Ryan Posen (Julie) and TJ Macpherson (Brandy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Josh, Lauren Posen and Graham Macpherson; his parents-in-law, Harold and Gilda Pickell; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Pickell and John Pickell.

In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
