With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary M. French of Clayton, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on September 10, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Jones and Mildred Jones (Polson); her husbands, Charles Evans, Don E. Bolender and Walter French; and her children, Charles Evans, Beverly Geerken and Dann Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Kay Meyer (Allen) and Jonnie Evans (Kim); and her siblings, Ann Gilvin (Bob) and Harold Brown (Rhonda). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
