With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Hitzfield of Clayton, Ohio, born in Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on November 22, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn McFarren and Mary McFarren (Ulrich); her siblings, Marilynn Carr, Mona McFarren and Monty McFarren; and her sons, James and John Hitzfield.

She is survived by: her husband Glenn E. Hitzfield; her children, Glenda Jo Hirsch (Doug), Jill Shroyer, Tim Hitzfield (Doris) and Tyler Hitzfield (Lee); her grandchildren, Ben Hirsch (Leah), Joe Hirsch (Erin), Lindsay Shroyer, Kelsey Sells (Tony), Taylor Hitzfield, Emily Shroyer and Korey Hitzfield; and her great grandchildren, Braedon, Bella, Jake, Lyla, Carter, Glenna and Joey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
