David A. Garrety Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate David A. Garrety of Clayton, Ohio, whose life came to an end on March 2, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Garrety and Ruth Garrety (Stevens); his daughters, Patricia Ann Garrety and Connie Smith (Charlie); his granddaughter Tami; and his siblings, Eugene Garrety, Raymond Garrety, Thomas Garrety and Phyllis Hoppes.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Garrety (Knick); his daughters, Pamela Carey (Kimball), Sarah Henderson (Lonnie) and Grace Rudolph (Martin); and his grandchildren, Alice (Brian), Libby (Andy), Christina (Sam), Clara (Matt), Nicole (Royd), Evan and Helena. He is also survived by Numerous Great Grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (9100 N Main St, Englewood, OH 45322). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (501 W McCreight Ave, Springfield, OH 45504).
