With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Mae Powell of Clayton, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on July 17, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl L. Schulte and Rose L. Schulte; her brother Carl T. Schulte; and her former spouse Leslie K. Powell. She is survived by: her children, Carl J. Powell (Donna) of Englewood, OH, Leslie T. Powell (Carolyn) of Piqua, OH, Craig M. Powell of Scotland, MD, Christopher A. Powell (Leigh) of Englewood, OH, Amanda Powell (Jim Fitzgibbons) of Sun City, AZ and Stephen Powell (Carolina) of Indio, CA; her sister Mary Henning (Kenny) of Englewood, OH; her sister-in-law Barb Schulte of Englewood, OH.; and her grandchildren, Charlene (Carly), Emily, Jonah (Natalie), Jenna (Brett), Chandler, Daniel, Trever, Savannah, Leslie and Stephen, Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
While flowers are welcome, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or you may make a donation to Precious Blood Church to have a Mass said in Char's name.
