It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Kemp of Clarksville, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry G. Kemp and Myrtle Kemp (Crockett); and his siblings, Susan Snell, Alice, Richard Kemp and Daniel Kemp.

He is survived by: his children, David Kemp (Tricia Wise) of Pickerington and Natalie Harmeling (Bernard) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Bailey, Mariah Kemp, Braden and Lauren Harmeling; and his siblings, Diane Mitten (Andy) of Morrow, Terry Kemp (Darlene) of Morrow, James Kemp (Beth) of Morrow and Michael Kemp (Dian) of Blanchester. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“The Kemps were very kind to my brother and me as we were growing up, letting us play basketball with them in their barn court and softball in the barnyard. Football on the lawn was unfortunate since Dave's leg was broken in his LMHS senior year. Dave never showed poor sportsmanship and I greatly admired him for that. He was an outstanding person.”
