Becky Ater Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Becky Ater of Clarksburg, Ohio, born in Ross County, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl, Sr. Steinhauser and Ruth K. Steinhauser (Smith); her husband Earl E. "Deak" Ater; her son Dan Ater; and her siblings, Charles "Hi", Carl Steinhauser, Jr. and Virginia Steinhauser.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Heck (John) of Granville and Ruth Ann Sowers (Don); her grandchildren, Jennifer Secrest (Chad), Kyle Ater (Sarah), Nick Ater (Stacey), Mackenzie Hubbard (Hunter), Daniel Ater, Ashley Weber (Stephen) and Earl Andrew Sowers (Lyndsey); her stepgrandchildren, Lauren Johnson (Dave), Ryan Heck (Melissa) and Mark Heck (Kristen); her great grandchildren, Oliver Secrest, Kennedy Weber, Keegan Weber and Wyatt Ater; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Riley Johnson, Gavin Heck, Gale Heck, Gabe Heck, Natalie Heck and Brynlee Heck. She is also survived by one great-granddaughter expected any day; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
