Hershel L. Loftus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hershel L. Loftus of Claridon, Ohio, who passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Loftus and Verdie Loftus (Sutphin); and his siblings, Darrell Loftus, Inez Smith, Regina Nichols, Brenda Loftus and Judy Loftus.
He is survived by: his former wife Francine (Crowley); his grandson Hershel; his wife Fran (Crowley); his children, Linda O'Connor (Dan), Hershel Loftus II and James Loftus; his grandchildren, Dustin Carter, Becca Loftus, Rachel Loftus, Dillon O'Connor and Katelyn O'Connor; his great grandchildren, Khloe Loftus, Owen Emerine and Kali Loftus; and his siblings, Danny Loftus (Sally), Wilbur Loftus and Chris Valo.
His grandchildren taught Hershel how to use Snap Chat during the Covid lockdown, and he became the "King of Snap Chat", keeping in touch with his family every day, however making a phone call was a different story.
