In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Bates and Dovie Bates (Smith); and his sister Cindy Lange. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Tiffany Bates, Amber Taylor and David Bates (Megan); his granddaughters, Lucy Taylor and Nicole Bates; and his brother Robert Bates (Helen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
