She was predeceased by: her son Steven Sturgill Jr.; her parents, Denver Tufts and Gertrude Tufts; her aunts, Faye Leatherwood and Lilah Davis; her cousin Mark Davis (Sandra Lewington); her nephew Christopher Sturgill; her parents-in-law, Luther and Mary Sturgill; and her siblings-in-law, Charlene Winning and Paul Sturgill.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Baker (Kolby), Gage Sturgill (Kayla), Joey Sturgill (Jonna), Lori Stewart (JR) and Misty Sturgill; her siblings, Trudi Carney (Travis), Sharon Sturgill (Thomas), Thomas Wooten (Debbie), Terry Wooten (Joan) and William H. Conner; her grandchildren, Joey Sturgill Jr., Wesley Stewart, Wayson Sturgill, Jordan Sturgill, Willow Stewart, Autum Holley, Jaylyn Baker, Emma Sturgill and Addilyn Baker; and her close friends, Melody Hill and Candy Harris. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
