He was predeceased by: his father Steven A. Clifton; his brother Richard Leach; and his nephews, Daniel, Kaleb and Landon.

He is survived by: his mother Linda Moe (Jeff); his sons, Preston Clifton (Taylor) and Leonard "Marshall" Clifton; and his brother Paul Leach (Mary).
