With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Mettler of Circleville, Ohio, who passed away on April 18, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Sowers and Helen Sowers (Giffin); her daughter Angela Downing; her siblings, Dick Sowers and Cora Fields; and her sister-in-law Emmie Sowers.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Mettler; her sons, Robert Eric Schoonover (Angie) and Gerald "Troy" Mettler (Sam); her son-in-law Terry Downing; her grandchildren, Laurissa, McKenzie, Maggie, Maddie Mettler and Shane Downing (Amy); her great grandchildren, Shelby Hipp, Allie and Aubrey Downing; and her sister Helen Bragg.
