He was predeceased by: his parents, David Beckett (Norma) of Maysville, Kentucky and Barbara O'Rourke Bracken (Harry) of Peebles; his brothers, Bobby and John Bracken; and his great grandchild Malia June.
He is survived by: his children, J. R. Beckett (Amanda) of Huntingburg, Indiana, Alicia Schieser (Mike) of Manchester and Tonya Jones (Vincent Music) of Greenfield; his siblings, Randy Bracken, Ronnie Bracken (Lora), Rodney Bracken (Diane), Roger Bracken (Jessica) and Renee Knowlton (Richard); his grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, Jessica, Austin, Brittney, Brandon, Chaz, Meredith and Lauren; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Lila, Asher, Paisley, Brielle, Declan and Dawson.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home (119 Rarden Rd, Peebles, OH 45660). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
