She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Lloyd Davis and Bessie Davis (George); her husband Merle Swank; her children, Stephen Swank and Rochelle "Shelly" Peters; and her sisters, Cleo Elizabeth Melvin (Ron) and Rosemary Crabtree (James).
She is survived by: her daughter Roxanne Carter of Hilton Head; her granddaughters, McKenzie Cameron (Chris) and Stacy Detty (Philip); her great grandchildren, Mikayla Detty, Brianna Detty and Emma Rose Detty; and her great great grandchild Emberly Detty.
